Miley Cyrus is returning to TV! The 21-year-old singer has been traveling around the world knocking out provocative performances on her Bangerz Tour, and soon everybody will get the chance to be an audience member. Smilers, if you couldn’t make it to a live show, don’t worry — you can see Miley in all her glory when NBC airs a two-hour documentary on the pop star.

“Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour” will feature backstage and concert footage from her shows in Barcelona, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal. According to the Wrap, NBC has stated that the doc will “examine what makes [Cyrus] such a global phenomenon.”

“There are few recording artists with the global success achieved by Miley Cyrus,” said NBC executive Paul Telegdy (quotes via the Wrap). “This unique special will offer an exclusive peek on how she engages with her crew and fans at one of her hugely popular concerts.”

We’re curious to see exactly what the behind-the-scenes documentary will show, since the ‘Wrecking Ball’ star’s performances are famously explicit. There are quite a few components of her production that probably wouldn’t be well received or even allowed on network television. But that’s what makes Miley, well, Miley, so it wouldn’t make sense for it to be completely censored, either!

All will be revealed soon enough. “Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour” is set to air on Sunday, July 6 at 9PM ET on NBC.
