Meryl Streep Will Be In Nantucket This Summer

The actress often referred to as the" best of her generation" will be spending some time in Nantucket this summer.

The Theatre Workshop of Nantucket announced last Tuesday that Meryl Streep will be appearing in their 60th Anniversary Celebration this July.

According to TWN's website, the event on July 30th is a special benefit cabaret that will "pay tribute to [their] 60 years of performing on the island."

Streep will be starring in the show called "On With The Show - A 60th Anniversary Cabaret” along with John Shea, TWN’s Artistic Director Emeritus, and actor/director Joe Grifasi.

The four were all in a cabaret group together at Yale and will be bringing the old gang back together for this event.

Tables for the show are on sale now and individual tickets will go on sale on March 15th.
