Man In Painter’s Mask May Have Attempted An Abduction In Rochester

It happened late Saturday afternoon in the town on Alley Road in the town of Rochester.  Police say two kids were riding their bikes when a man in an old white van tried to get them to go to the van.    The two ignored him and the van drove off.

The man is described as an older white male with gray hair.  The kids told the cops that he was wearing a gas mask.   Police have since decided that it may have been a painter's mask.   The van is described alder white van with scratches on the passenger side.  Rochester police notified cops in surrounding departments of what happened.
