The popular children's writer, Judy Blume, will be releasing her first novel for adults in over 15 years!I am really excited about it since I was a huge fan of Judy Blume's when I was growing up. People Magazine has exclusively released the plot line for the story. It will be centered around the 1951 and 1952 real-life plane crashes that occurred in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where Blume grew up.

"These events have lingered in my mind ever since," said Blume, "It was a crazy time. We were witnessing things that were incomprehensible to us as teenagers."

She'll be using the incidents as background for the story but is focusing more on family and friends across three generations and it will be released in June 2015.

"It is a remarkable narrative" said Carole Baron, Blume's Editor, "gripping and moving and not surprisingly, a book that will keep readers on the edge of their seats."

I loved Judy Blume when I was younger!  I remember my Mom would take me to the library often when I was a kid and I would always check out the same book, 'Just As Long As We're Together' by Judy Blume.  I loved that book so much, that I even bought the book as an adult and have it at home right now.  She is also well known for her other books "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret" and "Blubber" that I also enjoyed and could relate to as a young girl, but my favorite was always "Just As Long As We're Together" so I am really looking forward to this novel when it comes out!
