Men's Warehouse recently bought the Joseph Abboud brand for nearly $100 million in cash.  Many of the upscale Abboud suits and tuxedos are make at the New Bedford factory, which employs over 400 people.   Joseph Abboud also sells shoes, accessories and designer eye ware.

Men's Warehouse has now placed a $1.54 Billion bid on the Jos. A. Bank.   The company also sells men's tailored suits and casual clothing.

If the deal goes through, the combined company would have more than 1,700 stores.  Men's Warehouse says it won't rebrand Jos. A. Bank or remodel any of it's current stores.
