Jenny Dell “Moving On” From NESN

There was speculation of this happening a couple weeks ago, but now, it has been confirmed...

Jenny Dell and NESN are parting ways. Red Sox chairman Tom Werner, who oversees all of NESN’s on-air operations, announced this morning that she has decided to pursue other opportunities outside of NESN.

This decision comes after she and third baseman for the Red Sox, Will Middlebrooks, acknowledged that they were dating.

Jenny Dell was hired for the 2012 season replacing Heidi Watney as the Red Sox sideline reporter. Tom Werner has stated that Jenny Dell is free and clear of any contractual obligations.
