Whether it's Joseph Aboud in New Bedford you work for, Titleist in Fairhaven or Southcoast Health, if you're looking to get ahead in the workplace, try not using these phrases in your daily vocab.

WCVB 5 came up with a great list that will make you laugh and maybe even question your language on the job.  These are the top 7 phrases experts say to not use at work.

7 Phrases to Stop Using in the Workplace:

  • "just"
  • "I'm no expert but..."
  • "what if we tried...?"
  • "I can't"
  • "like"
  • using exclamation points or emoji's
  • "am I making sense"

If you drop these phrases, you're sure enough to move ahead and even improve your vocabulary.  The above look phrases to stop saying are fine by my BUT... I won't give up using my emoji's :)  The powers that be here at Fun 107 will have to be ok with that.
