A three-story snow pile is still slowly melting in Boston and what's in it is just gross!

What started as a 75-foot snow mound in Boston's Seaport District has melted down to a three-story pile of dirt and trash encased in solid ice. It looks seriously gross and every week more garbage melts free.

So far crews have pulled 85 tons of debris from the snow/ice pile and it's still melting!

Among items found are bicycles, traffic cones, even half a $5 bill still stuck in the ice.

As Department of Public Works Commissioner Michael Dennehy told The Boston Globe, it's “a science experiment waiting to happen.”

Crews have even started a poll on when all the snow and ice will finally melt, but with so much of it still left even after all these warm days, Dennehy says it's probably weeks away from being completely gone.
