Fun at the theme park doesn't have to end just because the warm summer months are gone. Bundle up for Ice Fest at Six Flags this December.

I was very surprised to learn that there are still events at Six Flags after Fright Fest.

Honestly I thought once Halloween had passed you had to wait until the following spring to enjoy the theme park again.

But not the case.

In fact, Six Flags New England has several events planned throughout November and December. Including Holiday in the Park every weekend from November 23rd through January 1st.

And yes, you can even spend New Year's Eve there.

Crazy.

Holiday in the Park fills Six Flags with festive lights, trees, music and more.

The Looney Tunes characters are out for the kids, Santa and Mrs Claus make an appearance and yes, many rides are open.

Weather permitting you can ride on Batman the Dark Night, The Joker 4D and plenty of others.

Temperatures have to stay warm enough and every weekend they will post which rides are running on their Facebook page, so you'll know before you go.

But even without the rides, it sound like a winter wonderland at the Massachusetts theme park every weekend this holiday season.

Plus on December 7 & 8, Ice Fest is also at the park.

Ice Fest returns bringing a Frozen like feel to Six Flags.

There will be ice sculptures throughout the park, LED light shows and even an ice bar with ice luge serving up alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Both Holiday in the Park and Ice Fest run from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. on their respective weekends making your holiday nights a lot more fun.
