This new addition to your car will make you forget road rage and promote smiles instead!

If you are trying to turn your commutes into a happier experience take a look at MotorMood, a little light-up smiley face that sticks to your car’s rear window that lets you say “thanks” to other drivers on the road.

MotorMood is controlled by a little battery-powered device that fits on your car’s visor, similar to a garage door opener.  When you press the button the smiley face lights up, consequently sending some positive vibes to fellow drivers.

The team behind the creation of MotorMood has created a Kickstarter to raise funds in order to fund this project.

In the company’s Kickstarter video the company’s vice president Alex Sewell suggests that MotorMood can make a positive impact on drivers.

"There are many things that you can use MotorMood to say,” Sewell says. "Thanks for letting me into your lane, thanks for turning off your brights, and thank you for letting me know that the light turned green."

The MotorMood’s retail price is $30, but you can get it cheaper if you donate to the Kickstarter.

For all you drivers who suffer from occasional road rage, maybe this would promote some harmony on the roadways.

The campaign has a goal to raise $130,500 by July 30, and has currently raised approximately $53,000.
