Hawthorne Medical Grows Again

One-stop medical care in Dartmouth.  That's where Hawthorne Medical is heading with their next expansion.

Yesterday, Hawthorne broke ground on a new three-story, $33 million medical office building that will put all of their services at it's Faunce Corner Road campus.   This is their third expansion since they first opened their doors at the site in 1996.    They expect to add about new 45 employees, including 15 physicians, to their current staff of 750 people.

Hawthorne plans to close its current urgent care center on State Road in Dartmouth, and move it into the new building.   And in a partnership with St. Anne's Hospital, Hawthorne Medical plans to build a 10,400 square foot urgent care center at Riverside Landing on Coggeshall Street in New Bedford.
