When you enter Stop and Shop, do you automatically reach for the handheld scanner to shop for your groceries?

My husband and I do this every time we shop for groceries. Why you may ask? Doesn't that take more time than standing in line for a cashier?

Once you are comfortable operating the scanner, it takes no time at all. In fact, by sticking to our list as well as being aware the total bill before checkout, we have saved money.

We are more conscious of buying healthy items and resisting "want" items which in turn helps us to put aside additional money for more important things such as a mini vacation to Cape Cod or Concord, Massachusetts.

So why not try using the scanner yourself and see how much you can save!
