If you are into history, you will love what the Fairhaven Village Militia and the Office of Tourism have planned for this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, it's a two-day encampment at Fort Phoenix.  It's your chance to talk to men and women dressed as they would have been back in the 1770's about life back then, and the fort's history.   Great demonstrations like cannon firing, tomahawk throwing, cooking and kid's games too.   Hours are 10 a.m 'til 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.   And in Fall River, Battle Cove hosts the Pearl Harbor Experience.  This recreates the sights and sounds of the surprise attack on December 7th, 1941.  It's the only outdoor multimedia reenactment of Pearl Harbor anywhere, and it opens for the season this weekend.
