Want to buy your own ghost town? Cause in Connecticut you apparently can. An entire village that is allegedly haunted is currently for sale, just in time for Halloween!

The town is called Johnsonville Village and it sits just outside of East Haddam, Conn. In the 1830s Johnsonville Village was a booming mill town and home to the Neptune Twine Company, which made binding rope for the nation's fishing industry.

Nowadays the 62-acre property with eight 19th-century structures, a pond, a covered bridge, wooden dam and waterfall lies empty, except for the restless spirit or two they say remains in some of the buildings.

One of the spirits is supposed to be that of eccentric aerospace millionaire Ray Schmitt, who bought the town back in 1960 with the plan to restore it. He died before he saw his dream realized and the town has been abandoned ever since.

But next week, on Oct. 28, the entire village will go up for sale. The starting price is set at $800,000, which really isn't bad for an entire town. To buy it though, you've got to register at Auction.com and provide a $10,000 deposit and proof of funds.

So would you want your very own ghost town?
