Tove Lo has the hottest song in the country right now, but there are still plenty of people who are wondering 'just who is Tove Lo?'

Born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson in Stockholm, Sweden, she took the stage name Tove Lo once she knew music is what she wanted to do with her life. Pronounced Two-vay Loo in Sweden, once her hit "Habits" started to gain success outside of her native country, she chose to Americanize the pronunciation to Tove (rhymes with stove) Low.

But it's not only her name that is unique.

Tove Lo has a very distinct voice as well as strong songwriting skills. She's lent her writing abilities to artists like Icono Pop, Victoria Justice and Cher Lloyd in recent years and wrote herself a song for the Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 soundtrack called "Scream My Name."

But it's "Habits" that fans are currently singing along with as Tove Lo tours Australia with Katy Perry on The Prismatic World Tour. The lead single of her debut album Queen of the Clouds is still riding high on the charts and she's currently climbing again on Alesso's debut single "Heroes."

Looks like 2014 is just the start for Tove Lo.
