It's hard to believe we are already wrapping up another summer of Food For Tots with the Friends of Jack Foundation.

We have been blessed with some of the best weather this summer for our Food For Tots nights, and this Thursday (Aug. 17) looks no different. ABC6 meteorologist Skylar Spinler calls for sun and clouds and temps in the 70s. We can't wait.

Food For Tots is such a fun and easy fundraiser because there's very little that you need to do. It's a breeze for families to get involved. All you have to do is go out to eat at any of the following restaurants. You'll order from the menu, and at the end of the meal you'll pay normal prices. The restaurant will then donate 20% of what you pay to the Friends of Jack Foundation.

Here Are August's Food For Tots Locations:

  • Tia Maria's in New Bedford (serving breakfast and lunch)
  • Kool Kone in Wareham (lunch and dinner)
  • Tipsy Toboggan in Fall River
  • Rustico in Mattapoisett
  • The Bay Club in Mattapoisett
  • Acushnet Creamery

The Hovan family from Rochester is a match sponsor for August's Food For Tots.

If you want to catch up with the Fun 107 crew, we are scheduled to start our evening at Tipsy Toboggan in Fall River at 5:30.  We'll then head to Rustico in Mattapoisett and end the night with some Acushnet Creamery ice cream.

Breakfast lovers, don't forget Tia Maria's will be open bright and early.

Tell us this isn't the easiest way to help a local charity.
