Here is this week's list of free fun happenings. Each week on Fridays, different museums and organizations in the state of Massachusetts participate by providing free admission to visitors. For more information on the program, click here.

Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum- An intimate collection of decorative and contemporary fine arts. This museum is located in Boston.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company- Check out the company's free performance in the park of "A Kidsummer Night's Dream". The show starts at 5:00pm at the Parkman Bandstand in Boston Common.

American Textile History Museum, Lowell- Much like the cities of New Bedford and Fall River, Lowell is also a city rich with history and involvement in the textile industry. Learn about it this Friday with free admission to the ATHM.

The Discovery Museums, Acton- If you have a budding young scientist on your hands, the Discovery Museum is a hands on place that inspires curiosity.

Hancock Shaker Village, Pittsfield- A living Shaker history museum with crafts and activities

Concord Museum- A museum of local history, currently on exhibit "The Shot Heard Round The World" as well as objects related to Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau.

Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center, Berkshires- with showtimes at 10a, 12n and 2p, Free Fun Friday performances will celebrate the spirit of vaudeville.
