Faxon Animal Care and Adoption Center In Fall River has been forced to turn away more than 30 dogs in the past weeks, and it cannot accept any others at this time.  That's because the building's air conditioning stopped working in June when it was flooded by a storm.

Kennel owners say they have had a dispute with the insurance company that has prevented them from replacing the system.   So now the dog shelter sits empty and is looking for donations to help get it back up and running.   It's now just too hot inside the building to house canines.

The Faxon Animal Care and Adoption Center has been open for almost 100 years, and this is the longest period of time they've gone without dogs.   Click the link below for information on how you can donate.
