After much anticipation, the beloved Tropical Smoothie in Fairhaven has reopened its doors, only this time in a new location.

The grand reopening happened May 9 at 15 Sarah’s Way, near the CVS Plaza on Route 6.

Originally slated for a November debut, unforeseen delays primarily related to contractor availability prompted the rescheduling. However, the wait has been worthwhile, with extensive renovations transforming the spot. Everything from the electrical systems to the HVAC setup is fresh.

Operating hours are 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for early risers and late-night snackers to indulge in their favorite treats. While plans for a drive-thru are in the works, patrons are encouraged to upgrade their experience by downloading the Tropical Smoothie app for convenient ordering ahead and hassle-free pickups. Also, parking has been optimized for customer convenience as opposed to the older location on Alden Road, which has been cleared to make way for a Starbucks.
