A new disturbing trend is taking hold among some poeple and frankly it flat out grooses me out. Imagine someone licking your eyeball..because they love you.

It can be called “oculolinctus” or even “worming,” and this new strange trend was recently discovered by the Japanese website Naver Matome, according to CBS. In a series of YouTube videos, the site showed young lovers expressing themselves in the “intimate” act.

One Japanese classroom of 12-year-olds, one-third of students confessed to “worming” or being “wormed.” School officials only noticed something was amiss when some of the licked students showed up to school wearing eye patches. Not only is this gross but licking someone’s eyeball can cause blindness as the bacteria found in the mouth can damage the eye’s tissue.Just ask Web MD.

Also, if the person doing the licking has something such as the herpes virus, it too, can easily be passed onto the other person through the eyeball. So when you have the urge to lick some eyeball, don't.

Sick puppy. Really? Do we really need to warn people not to lick eyeball? What has the world come to?
