You and your family are invited to "Volunteer Day" at the YMCA Southcoast, sponsored by the Southcoast Lions Clubs. This is a great event for all ages, bring your parents and grandparents and enjoy the morning on the farm. You will be planting seedlings, harvesting spring crops, planting seeds and anything else that needs to be done on the farm.
Registration is at 8:30 AM and free T-shirts are available on a first-come first-served basis. We start at 9 AM and finish up at noontime where you will be served a complementary lunch of burgers and dogs from the grill!
Since 2006 Sharing the Harvest has donated over 300,000 pounds of nutritious, fresh fruits and vegetables to local food pantries.
