Homeless Service Providers Network of New Bedford and RiseUpForHomes.com is pleased to announce their first annual New Bedford Connect: Connecting Homeless People to a Better Future.
New Bedford Connect is a one-day event that brings together, in a single location, a wide variety of community volunteers, resources and services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. Direct services will be provided on site, free of charge to all seeking assistance.
By participating in this event, non-profit, city agencies, and area businesses will be raising awareness of the services they provide in the community and extending the opportunity for the homeless to connect with these services in one location. The goal of New Bedford Connect is to provide easy access to these services and resources that support the transition of the city’s homeless off the streets and/or shelters and into housing.

Please bring any form of ID with you (to access some services, an ID will be needed.
To obtain a photo ID from the RMV one of the following is required: birth certificate, expired driver's license, proof of residence, or Social Security card.
