Additional Information

Are you ready to Face Your Fears once again?
This year, we’re haunting Fort Adams in Newport, Rhode Island. It was built in 1799 and figured prominently in the War of 1812, and was the location of the US Naval Academy during the Civil War.

Over the years, visitors have reported being poked and jabbed by unseen hands, and even have had rocks thrown at them. This fort is full of ghosts, many of whom died tragically, yet not in battle. These include a Private who was shot by a fellow soldier in 1819 during a drunken July 4 celebration; a woman found frozen to death in an artillery ditch in 1925; a mother and child who died in the Spanish Influenza outbreak of 1918; and even those who perished during the fort’s construction and remain trapped within its walls.

Our team of local paranormal investigators from the Spooky Southcoast radio show will lead you on an investigation through the fort and across the grounds. This event is not for the faint of heart. You will be walking around in the dark, sometimes through treacherous terrain.
