Dog Lover Uses Craigslist To Search For Former Owner

If you have listened to me on the FUN Morning Show, you are aware of my love for animals. I came across this heart-warming story and I had to share it will you all.

Cathy, a 15 year old pitbull, was rescued a few years ago by a family in New Hampshire from a shelter in Manhattan and her new owners are using Craigslist to find her former abusive owners. According to the NY Daily News, when the De Campi family rescued Cathy she was emaciated, burned, had multiple infections, and had been bred multiple times. Over the past three years, Cathy has become a loving member of their family.

De Campi, who already had three children and a dog, fell in love with Cathy instantly and knew she would fit in with her family. She wrote on Craigslist, "Your dog is awesome. We love her so much. The past three years with her have brought us (and her) so much happiness. P.S. you can't have her back."

I'm so happy Cathy finally found a loving family after all of the hardships she endured!
