Until very recently, I had never even heard of "Portuguese Flannel."  Now I seem to see it everywhere.  I came across Portuguese Flannel shirts on the LL Bean website, and then saw the Portuguese Flannel sheets in Bed, Bath and Beyond.  I have no idea why I was even in that store, but I was.

According to llbean.com, this flannel is very soft and very high in quality and has been manufactured in the small towns of Northern Portugal for over a century.  It's also said to be durable, shrink resistant, and holds the color very well.

So, if you have never worn or slept on Portuguese Flannel, it may be something you might consider treating yourself to at some point.
