Amy continues to improve. As of today, she is still awake and breathing on her own. She has been moved out of the ICU and into her own hospital room, and she'll soon be relocated to Spaulding rehabilitation. Her improvements are slow but steady day by day. Amy is smiling and covering her mouth when she coughs. She was able to brush her own teeth and washed her own face. She has been giving family and friends 'high fives' and was able to wave to her in-laws. The warmest moment, however, came when she blew her husband Brian a kiss! All of us here at Fun 107 continue to pull for her and her family.

There is some new info about a fundraiser being set up for her family, as her husband has not been able to work since this nightmare has hit. Team Amy is conducting a Cocktail Benefit Honoring Amy. The event will be held at the Fisherman's Club at 639 Orchard St., New Bedford. Appetizers, Entertainment-DJ Chinese auction etc. It's happening on September 13th from 8 PM to 12 midnight. Tickets are $25.00 If you would like to help with either purchasing or selling tickets or to make a monetary donation please call, Libby Costa at 508-999-3535. Please be sure to leave a message and she will get back to you.
