Here's an interesting sign I saw on my road trip last week.

We pulled off the highway in Connecticut and ended up at a “G-rated” Wendy’s.

Whenever I see a sign like this one, I always wonder about the backstory that prompted it.

  1. Was there a huge swearing problem before they hung the sign?
  2. Assuming there was a swearing problem...who was doing the swearing?  The employees or the customers?
  3. After the sign was posted...was it effective?  Was there a reduction in swearing
  4. Are there other options for a racier dining experience?  PG?  PG-13?  Would you dare try R rated fast food?

We called the G-rated Wendy's.  Employees there told us that the owner has the sign posted in all of his restaurants.
