Page Six reported the intimate wedding took place on Saturday, September 9th in Massachusetts, and People confirmed that Evans and Baptista chose a quiet estate on the Cape to say “I do” in front of their loved ones.

Stars in attendance included Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.

According to People, the Sexiest Man Alive had been dating the Portuguese actress since 2021, with a source saying, “They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her."

It’s a bittersweet announcement. We all want to see Captain America happy, but can we all agree that the envy of Baptista is real?

Evans grew up in Sudbury, a town just two hours from Cape Cod. Before he put on the Captain America suit and became a superstar, he and his family most likely spent a few summers on the Cape. It's the perfect spot for a charming, sea-side ceremony.

Evans is known for keeping quiet online and likes to keep his personal life private. The superstar even deleted his Instagram, a rare occurence for anyone in 2023.

And while the wedding announcement may be a surprise to his fans, anyone that has planned a wedding before knows it was most likely months in the making.

During his interview for People's 'Sexiest Man Alive', Evans shared his wish for a family and children in the future.

It seems like everything is coming together for this beloved actor.
