Finally, a news briefing covering our current coronavirus pandemic that our young kids can understand, learn from and gain confidence from.

I was flipping through the channels one night last week and caught a segment on one of the news networks that caught my eye. It was a young, 20-something gal who I'd never seen before, giving a kids-like news briefing on the COVID-19 pandemic. She was being featured in a segment promoting her new YouTube podcast called Littles News Briefing specifically created for kids. How great is this, I thought.

Turns out, Charlotte is the daughter of Vice President Mike Pence. Charlotte Pence Bond received her BA in Cinema, Screenwriting and English from DePaul University and is currently attending the Harvard Divinity School. She is a writer whose work has been published in the Washington TimesGlamour magazine and featured in US Weekly and on CNN, among several other major media outlets.

She published her first adult book, Where You Go: Life Lessons from My Father in October of 2018. As noted on Charlotte's website, in the book, she says, "are important lessons she has learned by her father’s example of love, loyalty, and faith, and through the challenges and triumphs she has shared with her family."

We were really excited to have Charlotte join The Rock and Fox Show this morning to chat about her new kids' podcast, Littles News Briefing, covering the news and updates about the current COVID-19 pandemic so that kids can understand it better. Check out our interview with her:
