BROCKTON (WBSM) — A Brockton car crash left four people injured on Saturday afternoon after being ejected from a vehicle that caught fire.

The incident occurred on Belair Street around 1:45 p.m. when police arrived in the area. At the scene, they found the victims seriously injured outside the vehicle.

According to police, the driver of a Mercedes sedan lost control while driving northbound on Belair Street, then crashed into a fire hydrant, and hit two trees before rolling over.

The victims were ejected from the vehicle before it caught fire.

Two people were transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center and two to South Shore Hospital. One of the victims was later airlifted to Boston Hospital for treatment.
