On Saturday, September 26, a dedication was made to the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon bombing, eight year-old Martin Richard. Bridgewater State University has officially opened the new Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice and graced their campus with a new sculpture, depicting the young boy holding his iconic message: "No more hurting people. Peace."

Hundreds of people attended the ceremony, including students, faculty, Richards' family and friends and Boston mayor, Marty Walsh.

The statue will be passed by thousands of BSU students and faculty daily and will remind people of the beautiful message of peace.
