Boy Suspended For Shaping Pop-Tart into Gun

Pop Tarts, a classic American breakfast pastry. Nothing scary about that.. right? Wrong! Remember, when eating any meal, don't shape your food into a gun. That is exactly what happened to a 7 year old in Baltimore.

KTNV-TVis reporting that Josh Welch, a typical American Boy was eating a Pop-Tart at school. A teacher saw the pastry and said she thought it looked like it was being shaped into a gun.The teacher also said she heard Welch say, "Bang Bang" while he was holding it. And that was it, he was immediately suspended.

The boy says the teacher got it completely wrong, "It was already a rectangle and I just kept on biting it and tore off the top, and it kind of looked like a gun but it wasn't."

What do you think? The punishment fit the crime, or has this country just flat out lost its mind.?
