Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, especially at the Museum of Bad Art in Boston.

Believe it or not, it's the only museum of its kind dedicated to, you guessed it, art that some might consider not so great.

With plenty of history-rich museums to visit in Massachusetts that house world-renowned pieces, why would anyone want to spend time looking at what has been deemed "bad" art?

Maybe it's because the museum truly believes in its slogan: "Art too bad to be ignored."

Perhaps you wouldn't make the drive only to gaze upon the artwork. Well, the museum is located inside Dorchester Brewing Company, so having a few beverages and barbecue food could be part of your experience.

As for the museum, there's no admission cost and adult-only hours fall on weekends.

If you've never heard of the place, you're not alone. That said, it's been around a long time, having been founded in 1993. It's even been featured in The Wall Street Journal. It might be time for a visit.
