Sunshine and spray tans have nothing on New England according to one actress. See who's moving away from the city of angels to be closer to her roots.

After nearly 22 years in Los Angeles, actress Eliza Dushku is leaving the West Coast and heading home to family.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse star also ended a long-term relationship with former LA Laker Rick Fox to make the move. Though I'm sure it wasn't the only reason they ended their five year relationship.

As Dushku told The Boston Globe,

Rick’s an LA guy and I’m a Boston girl,”

And this Boston girl could be seen around town very soon. In her Globe interview she says she has already bought a condo in Watertown and is going to eventually go back to school.

But don't expect to never see Dushku acting again, her move home has nothing to do with leaving the business, but everything to do with getting back to her roots, saying,

I missed my town and I missed my family.”

I'm sure Boston is happy to have her back!
