Big Papi is hitting the big screen.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Red Sox clean up hitter will re-enact his famous "this is our (bleeping) city" speech to Fenway Park fans.

The speech came during the Red Sox first home game since the Boston Marathon bombing...the day after DzhokharTsarnaev was captured, his body bloodied, in a Watertown boat.

Papi let his emotions get the best of him, and New England fell deeper in love with (what would soon be) the 3 time World Series Champion.

It's not clear why the director needs the scene shot again...given the fact that NESN footage is readily available.  The director may want to play with different camera angles.  It is possible that the director may also use a mix of the original footage and the re-enactment.
