The International Space Station passed over New England Monday morning and an astronaut aboard the station shared his view of our neck of the woods.

Jeff Williams is the commander of Expedition 48 aboard the ISS and he shares his views from space with his Twitter followers every day.


According to WCVB.com, those brown patches are defoliation due to brown moths snacking on all the leaves.

The ISS will pass over New Bedford again next week on Wednesday July 6th at about 4:47 a.m.
