Another Major Road Closure In New Bedford Starting Monday

There's a lot of construction happening in New Bedford lately and there will be another major road closing temporarily starting this Monday night.

According to The Standard Times, Route 6 in New Bedford as you approach the Fairhaven-New Bedford bridge will be closed for paving and repair starting at 7pm on Monday through Tuesday at 7am.

If you are coming from New Bedford you will be re-directed to Rt. 18 and I-195.  If you are in Fairhaven looking to cross the bridge into New Bedford, you'll have to head towards Howland and Coggeshall Streets.

The estimated completion date for the paving is May 26th.
