Some people love their jobs and other people can't stand waking up each day to go to work. In order to feel like you are leading a successful life you need to be in love with what you are doing. That way you feel you are making a difference and that you are leading a purposeful life!

I love my job here at Fun 107.  I could not imagine waking up and driving anywhere else to work except for right here in Fairhaven.  I tell the guys almost everyday that I drive home still laughing about jokes made on the morning show.  I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have here, and I express gratitude for it everyday.

Here are just a few signs that you have found that "happy place" at work:

You enjoy your time there!

If you are truly happy at work you look forward to waking up each and every day to be there. Even on those dreaded Mondays when "the struggle is reaaaallll" you are excited and wide awake ready to do your work.

You're excited about what you're doing!

Regardless of what tasks you have to do you complete them with the utmost amount of enthusiasm possible and you get them done right. A positive attitude is infectious so your other coworkers will most likely be just as excited as you are.

You hardly ever watch the clock

The 9-5 feels more like four hours. First it's lunch time and then the next thing you know you are in your car on the way home. The days go by much faster when you are not watching the time pass because you can't wait to get out of there.

You hate calling in sick

I have only been with Fun 107 since January and wouldn't want to call in sick so soon but even years down the road, calling in sick is not something I ever want to do. There was a week back in February where I was so sick but didn't want to miss a show because I just genuinely love every second I spend here.  If you have the same attitude towards your current job chances are you genuinely love what you are doing.

You're working for the bigger picture

If you understand that each coworker is contributing to the bigger picture and it is not just about getting your name to the top then you love your job. I love hearing when the Fun Morning Show is invited somewere or that Fun 107 is getting an award instead of just one of the DJ's because that means I contributed to the team's success. Afterall, there is no "I" in team.
