Despite the threats of snow and snow banks, the Whaling City hosted its 38th annual New Bedford Half Marathon today. Roughly 3,200 runners came from all corners of New England (and some from around the world) to run in today's race.

Former Half Marathon winner, and two time Boston Marathon winner, Geoff Smith described today's weather as "a little chiller" than most runners would like, but otherwise not bad.
