This year's Southcoast Hometown Hero winner is Jonathon Fiore from New Bedford!

Fiore was nominated by Nicole Fiore. Read Jonathan's nomination below:

"I would like to nominate Jon as the 2015 Hometown Hero. Currently, he serves full-time in the military and also works part-time as an EMT in New Bedford. During his time in the military, he's been deployed overseas and served as a first-responder during the Boston Marathon Bombing. In addition to a full work schedule, he still manages to find time to volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and place flags at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In the past, he's also donated time to the remodel of a local non-profit and assists his elderly neighbors during winter. He's a wonderful husband and father to four young children. I would love to see him get the recognition he deserves!!"

Congratulations to Jonathon for being this year's Hometown Hero!
