There was a carjacking at the Wareham Stop and Shop yesterday. A 75 year old woman was the target while she was putting her groceries in the car. Police say 31 year old Matthew Mullen put his fingers into the woman's back and told her to drive him to a bank. She drove to Mayflower Bank, but was unable to get the ATM machine to work for her. She pulled over and got out of the car when she saw a police officer. Police say Mullen drove off in the car, ditched it after driving a short distance, and jumped into another car with a mother, father, and 2 month old baby in the backseat...telling them to "drive" because he had a gun. Police were able to surround them, and arrested Mullen. He'll be in Wareham District Court this morning.
