Three dolphins were reported stranded in Provincetown's Harbor early this morning and sadly only one survived.

 

The Provincetown Police Department posted photo's and video of what happened on their Facebook  page.  According to their post, The International Fund for Animal Welfare responded and determined two of the dolphins were deceased.

The remaining one was examined by a veterinarian and assisted by staff and IFAW volunteers before being released back into the ocean.

Dolphins are often seen in the water off of Cape Cod but not so much in Provincetown's Harbor.
