A construction worker who fell more than 20 feet below ground into a pit on Tuesday morning has been rescued, according to a Wareham Fire Department spokesperson.

Two people required extrication from their heavily damaged vehicles this morning in a crash on Route 25 East in Wareham, according to the Wareham Fire Department.

No one was hurt, but these packages destined for delivery in Wareham won't be making it in time for Christmas.
