Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah)

Plaques honoring the Dartmouth High School Indian name and logo are now in place at the school and the Memorial Stadium football field.

A Dartmouth Indian logo designed by Clyde Andrews that predates the current logo could hang at Dartmouth High School.

Wampanoag tribe members from Aquinnah sent a letter to Dartmouth's School Committee on Monday urging them to keep the district's Indian logo ahead of a forum on the issue on Tuesday.
