Monopoly fans sent the thimble token directly to jail Thursday, as Hasbro, Inc. announced it will not be featured in the board game's summer release.

Scottie the dog has some new company in the game of Monopoly. This morning in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, Hasbro announced that fans have voted to add a new cat token to the game.

Hasbro is giving the popular board game a makeover.   The Providence company has launched a "Save Your Token" campaign to retire either the race car, the iron, Scottie dog, wheelbarrow, shoe, top hat, thimble or battleship.
