These superstitions come from stories, folklore, tropes, myths, or legends.

Superstitions and wives' tales can sound crazy but some people, like my Barry Richard's late Nana, take them very seriously.

How many of these do you still believe in?

A lot of things could bring bad luck to a ship while on a voyage.

It's Friday the 13th, a day that people either laugh about or are slightly cautious and afraid of. Do you believe something bad could happen to you today?

Much like all of the Major League Baseball players in New England, our kids have superstitions that they are committed to before every game they play.

You don't think that all of a sudden Bill Belichick is going to show up to a game wearing a suit and tie, do you?  He always wears a Patriots sweatshirt with the sleeves somehow altered according to the season and tempeture.  That makes him somewhat superstitious don't you think...

Every culture has it's own set of beliefs and that is also true for pregnancy. Simple things like touching a pregnant woman's belly or throwing a baby shower are huge no-no's to some.
