Police are investigating after a man reported being robbed at gunpoint at a convenience store in New Bedford's West End.

Broad daylight didn't stop a robbery attempt at the Quick Pic on Cottage Street New Bedford today. Police say were called at 10:20 this morning after they say 25 year old Rashid Hazzard grabbed the Quick Pic cashier and demanded money. The worker grabbed a baseball bat from behind the counter and tried to push the Hazzard away, but lost the bat in the struggle...
