Another round of ground spraying is due to get underway in New Bedford.

Targeted ground spraying for mosquitoes is scheduled to take place between 2:00 am and sunrise Thursday morning.

Mosquitoes known to transmit the Zika virus have been found in several cities and towns in Bristol County.

Mosquitoes carrying EEE were found in New Bedford on Monday. The Department of Health says the mosquitoes were primarily the bird-biting type, but have scheduled a spraying for Friday morning.
