Inclusion matters

One of my biggest fears was my daughter wouldn’t be welcomed or included by her peers. But she has a social life better than I could have ever imagined.

Inclusion matters because at its very core, it actually changes the fiber of a community, and more importantly, all of the lives in that community.

Paul never thinks he cannot be included. Without the kindness and inclusive mindset of our community, these moments may not have come true.

I’d be lying if I said we bonded right away but I knew we were meant to come into each other’s lives.

I still wonder how we could have made our inclusion experience better but I feel we did the best with what we had.
