Hurricane Jose is said to be the cause of a rare tropical bird showing up on Cape Cod.

Trash collection in the City of New Bedford will be delayed beginning Wednesday morning, September 20, 2017, due to the expected winds and impact of Hurricane Jose.

Mayor Jon Mitchell says New Bedford is well-prepared for Hurricane Jose, and urges individual residents to prepare as well.

Meteorologist Chelsea Priest called the Rock and Fox Show with information pertaining to Tropical Storm Jose and it's impact on the Southcoast.

The National Weather Service has just upgraded our area to a Tropical Storm Warning. This means tropical storm force winds of 45 miles per hour or greater are expected in the next 36 hours.

Jose has regained some strength and is now back to a category 1 hurricane moving up the Atlantic Ocean.
